Bohai Bank started operation

Bank, the first new stockholding commercial bank approved by the Chinese
government since 1996, started operation Thursday. As the first national
commercial bank headquartered in Tianjin, the bank is also the first of
its kind that ushered in overseas strategic investors in the preparatory
stage.
