Typhoon made a perfect match of parrots

No. 5 typhoon "Haitang" just swept across China was most impressive in
its power of destruction. To the male eclectus parrot in the Birds
Singing Grove in Fuzhou's forest park, however, "Haitang" brought him an
unexpected lover, a beautiful female eclectus parrot. Eclectus parrots
usually inhabit forests located in lowland and rain forests and have been
included into the catalog of "Convention on International Trade in
Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna." As Fujian does not have such
species of parrots in the past, this female parrot probably flew a long
way from the neighboring area of Taiwan with help of "Haitang's" wind
power. Pictured, the female eclectus parrot named "Fire Haitang" fell in
love with the male eclectus parrot in the Birds Singing Grove in Fuzhou's
forest park.
