Ieoh Ming Pei to design Suzhou Museum

Pictured: the renowned architect Ieoh Ming Pei on Apr. 26. Mr. Ieoh Ming
Pei, a renowned world-class architect, spent his 89th birthday in Suzhou
City on that evening, and the city hosted a grand birthday party for him
at the hotel where he stayed. It is learnt that Ieoh Ming Pei made a
special trip to Suzhou for on-the-spot inspection for the construction of
a central courtyard of the New Suzhou Museum designed by him.
