Han Bangyue, a youth of Shanting District of Shandong's Zaozhuang City,
was showing the vase-shaped fossil wood, which was recently discovered in
a ditch of Laomendong Village, Shuiquan Town. The fossil wood, 31
centimeters in length and 13 kilos in weight, looks like a vase in the
shape of a spindle. According to relevant experts' preliminary
conclusion, the fossil wood is a "volcanic bomb" that gradually formed
during volcano eruptions 140 million years ago.
