Citizens pass by the newly-renovated Wenfeng Pagoda on Sept. 21. This
five-storey hexagonal pagoda, 39 meters in height, was built during the
reign of Emperor Wanli (1573-1620) in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The
renovation program started in mid-May this year aimed to put on a new
look of the pagoda for the centennial ceremony of Nantong Museum and
Chinese museum development which will be held in Nantong from Sept. 24th
to the 25th.
