Qinghai-Tibet Railway reached 5,072m altitude

The 1,142km Qinghai-Tibet Railway connects Golmud and Lhasa. At present
the railway has reached the 5,072m high Tanggula Station. It is expected
to complete in Oct. and start trial operation next July. Pictured: the
main project of Lhasa Station will soon be completed.

Lhasa Station completed its main project on Aug. 25 and will be put into
