Xinjiang's largest cliff Buddha sculpture completed

Xinjiang's largest cliff Buddha sculpture was completed at the Dongdatang
tourist resort in Shihezi City on Nov. 1, which is located at the middle
section in the north of Tianshan Mountain. The 24-meter high sculpture
featuring sitting Sakyamuni is on a cliff at a 2,000-meter altitude and
cost five years to complete. It is currently the largest cliff Buddha
sculpture in Xinjiang.
