Pet pig popular in Beijing

A pet pig was hold by a pet seller in a market in Beijing October 9,
2005. The pet pig will reach a full-grown weight of only 5 kilograms
after five months and can be fed with vegetables, fruits, dog or cat
food. The pigs become popular in pet market despite of the high price,
400 yuan (US$48) each. Rising incomes and increased leisure time have
spurred a new generation of pet owners in China, a market that is growing
at 15 percent a year.
