Farmer to fly in self-made plane on National Day

Tan Chengnian, a peasant living in Kuiwen District of Shandong's Weifang
City cited as the first Chinese farmer pilot, began adjustment of his
self-made plane to prepare for his flight on the National Day on Sept.
27. He will take a flight on Oct. 1st with a national flag to present a
special gift for the National Day.
