Yunnan original ethnic band performed

Folk artists from the Yunnan original ethnic band, who had just come back
from the U.S. with honors, performed in the Central Academy of Fine Arts
on Oct. 19. The band is composed of folk artists from different ethnic
groups in remote mountainous areas in Yunnan. They aim at rescuing and
inheriting the ancient original music and dances, as well as establishing
for the marginal and weak groups a platform towards metropolitan and
international performances.
